The Executive Women in Government (EWG) continues our lunch series with a special opportunity to hear from Vice Admiral Nancy Elizabeth Brown, one of the Navy's highest ranking women. Her service in the Navy spans 32 years. Currently, Adm. Brown serves as the Director, Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems (C4 Systems), the Joint Staff and as the Joint Community Warfighter (JCW) Chief Information Officer (CIO). In her dual capacity she is the principal advisor to the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff on all C4 systems matters within the Department of Defense (DoD) and serves as an advocate for the link between combatant commanders C4 requirements and actions to deliver capabilities to meet their needs. Join us for a conversation about the career path she choose and a perspective on the present and future technology goals within the U.S. Department of Defense.
