The Federal Government is expecting a surge in Federal retirements at all levels in the next few years. Now is the perfect time to learn what it takes to be in the SES and how to get there. Join EWG for a special seminar featuring Carol Harvey, who retired from OPM where she administered the SES personnel system and is now working as a private consultant and trainer to various Federal agencies.

Carol Harvey has over 35 years of experience working with Federal supervisors, managers and executives to improve their performance through leadership development, coaching and effective human resource systems. During her long career with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Carol served as a policy advisor, program administrator and management trainer. She has more than 18 years of experience working in the national program office that administers the Senior Executive Service (SES) personnel system. She administered Qualifications Review Boards which approve leadership qualifications for SES appointment, as well as Candidate Development Program policy and operations. Her session will help you better understand the SES selection process, and she will offer concrete tips for crafting effective ECQ write-ups based on her experience as OPM’s CDP and QRB administrator.
