Tuesday, October 17, 2006

Some 150 women and men gathered in the West Conference Room at the U.S. Supreme Court to witness the swearing-in of EWG’s new officers by Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on October 17, 2006. In her remarks, Justice Ginsburg noted “As women achieve power, the barriers will fall. As society sees what women can do, as women see what women can do, there will be more women out there doing things, and we’ll all be better off for it.”
