Women in Government (EWG) continues our lunch series with a special
opportunity to hear from Director of Management and Chief Acquisition
Officer Deidre Lee
Join
us to hear Ms. Lee’s perspectives on her position at FEMA
and the role of women at the executive level in the federal government.
Ms. Lee works closely with FEMA's chief procurement and financial
officers, as well as response and recovery division heads, to develop
and oversee the agency’s acquisition programs to support efforts
to reinvigorate disaster response and recovery operations. Prior
to joining FEMA, Ms. Lee worked in GSA, Department of Defense, OBM
and NASA – providing her a broad background on agencies and

EWG’s luncheon series highlights the women leaders in the
federal government and gives members a unique opportunity to meet
and talk these successful women. The series launched with Lynn Scarlett,
Deputy Secretary of The Department of the Interior. Future conversations
include Sheila P. Burke, Smithsonian Deputy Secretary and Chief
Operating Officer, in February.
