Conversation with Deidre Lee
Director of Management and Chief Acquisition Officer, FEMA

January 10, 2007

The Executive Women in Government (EWG) continues our lunch series with a special opportunity to hear from Director of Management and Chief Acquisition Officer Deidre Lee

Join us to hear Ms. Lee’s perspectives on her position at FEMA and the role of women at the executive level in the federal government. Ms. Lee works closely with FEMA's chief procurement and financial officers, as well as response and recovery division heads, to develop and oversee the agency’s acquisition programs to support efforts to reinvigorate disaster response and recovery operations. Prior to joining FEMA, Ms. Lee worked in GSA, Department of Defense, OBM and NASA – providing her a broad background on agencies and programs. Click here for a full bio.

EWG’s luncheon series highlights the women leaders in the federal government and gives members a unique opportunity to meet and talk these successful women. The series launched with Lynn Scarlett, Deputy Secretary of The Department of the Interior. Future conversations include Sheila P. Burke, Smithsonian Deputy Secretary and Chief Operating Officer, in February.
